Pain and Praise

I have never in my life experienced the pain we are going through right now. It is intense. It is real. It feels like it is tearing me apart. But GOD IS GOOD. He will guide us through and lead us where he wants us to go. He is faithful. He does not waver. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is Truth. Satan, on the other hand, is the author of lies. Thank you, Jesus, that you are the judge and that your loving kindness is forever. Thank you that you have told me to focus on you. It's amazing how comforting the 23rd Psalm is in times of pain. Thank you, Jesus, for your word.

"The Lord is my shepherd;

I have everything I need.

He lets me rest in green meadows;

he leads me beside peaceful streams.

He renews my strength.

He guides me along right paths,

bringing honor to his name.

Even when I walk

through the darkest valley,

I will not be afraid,

for you are close beside me.

Your rod and your staff

protect and comfort me.

You prepare a feast for me

in the presence of my enemies.

You welcome me as a guest,

anointing my head with oil.

My cup overflows with blessings.

Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me

all the days of my life,

and I will live in the house of the Lord forever."
